It is our pleasure to offer our customers a large variety of specialty products that are made by locally, talented artists. The large diversity of products allows us to supply you with all your gift giving needs. Here are some of our local artisans we have to offer:

  • Alex Alverez- A young, creative artisan with a skill in hand-made scrap-booking cards.
  • John Atchley- This local Photographer uses his talented eye to capture the beauty of the surrounding landscapes!
  • Roxanne Bok- A local author of the book "HORSEKEEPING". A wonderful story of her life's journey of restoring a nearly collapsed farm into a thriving, beautiful horse farm. All Proceeds from the book sales are donated back to horse rescue charities.
  • Grace Brown- A folk Art artisan that makes her art into postcards, note cards and magnets.
  • Margaret Buchte- a painter of local, popular establishments turns her paintings into beautiful note cards
  • Janet Coughenour- offers unique cards from animals to people and scenes.
  • Cathi Landon- Uses her creativity to produce hand sewn, reusable bags made from recycled chicken feed bags
  • Kerry Douglas- This well known local potter is skilled by making any kitchen or table look spectacular with his products.
  • Brent Francoline- Using his majestic wood working skills, Brent shares his Connecticut Pride by creating unique Connecticut Shaped Cutting Boards.
  • Barbara Graham- From Millerton, NY, this artisan shares her unique, colored pencil cards with the public.
  • Carol Hart- A Salisbury Photographer, she has taken her talent to a new level making her beloved photographs into note cards
  • Hillhome Country Products- David makes his products special for us here at the Salisbury General Store! Everything from Jams and Marmalades to Dressings and Texas styled Pickles! Made fresh without preservatives using only the finest of ingredients! Yum!!!
  • Terre Lefferts- Turns her beautiful brush stroked paintings of local scenes into fabulous note cards
  • Lorna's Naturals- Recipes from her Grandmother's Kitchen, Lorna produces natural beauty products that range from soaps and face lotions to massage oils and lip balms.
  • Janet Mckinstry- produces creative tapestried tissue holders and pot holders.
  • Mead's- Serving locally made maple syrup in gorgeous glass bottles!
  • Molly & Murphy- A Treat For Your Pet! Naturally made treats for both your dog and horse!
  • Jen Murphy- takes a scrapbook approach to making beautifully, crafted, hand designed cards
  • Ken Musselman- A jolly artist that sells both paintings and note cards. He offers photographed note cards of his paintings produced on high quality paper that range from whimsical characters to inspiring scenes.
  • Nunwell Glass- Takes the skill of glass blowing to a whole new level. Their beautifully worked skills produces an array of products from glass cat figurines to vases and ornaments.
  • Janet Osofsky- Joan's new book, Love Where You Live, At Home in the Country, has finally arrived in stores and we have it HERE! The book is filled with wonderful stories and images of people and the homes that they love. Pick up an Autographed Copy TODAY!
  • Peach Pair- A digital, fine artisan brings her creativity to us in note card form.
  • Patti's Pretzels- A sweet, treat twist from your everyday, boring pretzel. These delicious, chocolate dipped pretzels are designed in fun and funky patterns to help with your sweet fixing!
  • Susan Rand- A Local artist that brings her unique paintings to print in Note Card form.
  • Barbara Reynolds- Offers hand cut, ceramic votive holders available in many patterns and sizes.
  • Lynne Stanton- restores old vintage postcards from the late 1800's - early 1900's and turns them into wonderfully shared note cards. Lynne also makes Sun Salutation Yoga Wall Clocks. Her yoga wall clock serves as a means to tell time and also as an illustrated guide to perform the 12 postures in the Ancient Sun Salutation Series. Incorporated in the clock's dial face is the artistic Sanskrit symbol, OM.
  • Sarah Taggart- Creatively using a play on words to illustrate wonderful, whimsical cards.
  • Traci's Treats- A Chocolate Lover's Dream! This artisan has a talent for molding the most basic form of chocolate into a masterpiece for any occasion! Perfect for gifts or an afternoon pick-me-up!
  • Trioli Artisans- Husband and Wife, Phil & Jane Trioli, share their crafty and woodworking skills with you all!
  • Jini Jones Vail- A local author of "Rochambeau- Washington's Ideal Lieutenant" writes about how this French General's role affected the American Revolution.
  • Darren Winston, Bookseller- Bamboo Stock Note Cards with Originality Vintage, One-of-a-Kind Images.
  • Wally World- Brings to the table carved cutting boards in different shapes and sizes.
  • Weatogue Farm- Shares farm life with the local public! They offer photograph copied note cards of their farm friends, calendars and hand made brooms of different sizes.
  • Whippoorwill Weavers- weave everything from baby sweaters to socks and dish towels
  • Willow Hill- Bakes yummy Sugar and Spice Pecans along with Spicy Pecans as well!
  • Mary Whitbeck- Our very own, Mary Whitbeck, a town staple and well-known employee that has blessed our customers with her witty smile for years! She shares her knitting talents with the public making beautiful, hand made scarves!
  • Barbara Zarbock- For those crafty customers: Barbara makes fun, festive pin cushions out of mason jar lids.
  • ZejkeArt- Painter Zejke Hermann transforms his colorful artwork into bright, beautiful note cards.
